Book Victoria's Favourite Party Band

Funk & Soul - with Joyce the Voice

Reviews

"The Soul Shakers"

Home alone with a heavy heart, I must get out and dance.

Can I move from here to there, where my heart will have a chance.

I force myself into the shower, and feel the water permeate my soul.

A little more of me returns, and I now I can move towards the door.

In this chamber of prism lights I will be lifted higher and higher,

The sound begins with a melody that sets my soul on fire.

The voice of Joyce reaches out, wrapped in sweet sounds of the gods,

I no longer need my ear phones, or the recordings on my ipod.

My body comes alive again, my cells and soul start shaking,

Feelings of joy and freedom are simply there for the taking.

Time moves on, and all too soon the clock on the wall strikes one,

Joyce, and the boys in the band have to end this night of fun.

Thank You All ,for another great evening.

Love & Hugs

Who's the dame? What instrument are you playing?

Band sounds good. Sam."

Hello Adrian

Terry Townson  here.

I just wanted to write and thank you for letting Robbie (Sax Player for Dr. John) and I sit-in with you guys at Swan’s.

Scott was a real sport to let us crowd his horn space.
Joyce, you and the boys ALL sounded GREAT and it was a real pleasure playing with you. If it hadn't been such a long day (Blues Fest 2008), we would have loved to have stayed longer. Hope to cross paths again soon.

Thanks again.

Cheers,

~Terry

KBS Convention Dinner/Dance 2007

Many people from 35 countries
are leaving Victoria thinking this was the best KBS dinner dance ever!
Those warm fuzziest that folks are returning home with are in large
measure, due to the entertainment provided by the band. We literally could have
danced all night. You are all fabulous. If I am ever in a position to book
you again for another event I will leap at the opportunity.

-  Christine, etc, etc,

"Looking forward to another fun and successful fundraising
